Creating a digital ecosystem for a global healthcare society
The client
The International Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery (ISPN) promotes global neurosurgical education and collaboration to improve the care of children. The ISPN membership comprises more than 500 surgeons around the world.
The challenge
Over more than a decade, ISPN’s digital needs evolved significantly – from sharing knowledge to building a searchable, scalable system to support the future of the society. There are three websites, each with a distinct purpose, and all needed to align with the ISPN’s broader mission and professional identity.
The result
Novagram partnered with ISPN across multiple phases to transform its digital presence. We redeveloped the ISPN Guide in 2017, refining its structure and interface to better support surgeons worldwide, with further enhancements delivered in 2023. In 2024, we launched the ISPN Library – an expansive, user-focused resource that integrates diverse content types and surfaces Guide material through a shared multisite database – followed by a new society website showcasing ISPN’s mission, work and membership offering.
Although commissioned separately, the three platforms now operate as a unified WordPress multisite, with shared logins, resources and streamlined administration. Each site features a clean, contemporary interface and tailored user journeys for professionals in different contexts. Together, they form a cohesive digital ecosystem that is robust, efficient and future-ready – supporting learning, collaboration and global reach across the paediatric neurosurgical community, and attracting thousands of registered users worldwide without paid promotion.
