Soho Radio is an award-winning, independent radio station, founded in 2014, that broadcasts live from both London and New York. With 200,000 monthly listeners, it has grown to be an influential voice for music and culture.

The challenge

An online radio station needs to stay online, no matter what. Soho Radio experiencing serious issues with their streaming services, and they needed a robust technical overhaul.

The result

We identified the need to overhaul Soho Radio’s live-stream functionality and page loading so users could listen to live or recent shows while browsing—without interruptions, popups or multiple windows.

We implemented a seamless loading system that avoids traditional page refreshes and restructured the streaming widgets to work together, ensuring only one stream plays at a time for a smoother, more intuitive listening experience.
